Frequently Asked Questions About Our Head Spa & Salon Services

Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: At Oasis Hair Spa, your appointment time is reserved especially for you. We kindly ask that all cancellations or reschedules be made at least 48 hours in advance. You can manage your appointment through your online booking link. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total. No-call/no-show appointments will be charged 100% of the service total and may result in a restriction from booking future appointments. All unpaid fees must be resolved before new appointments can be scheduled. Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full service. If you arrive late, your service may be shortened or, at our staff's discretion, you may need to reschedule. Appointments rescheduled due to late arrival are still subject to our cancellation policy. We understand that life happens. These policies are in place to protect the time and efforts of both our team and clients. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Q: Can my friend/spouse and I book a head spa appointment together? A: While we currently have just one head spa bed, we’d love to host you and your friend for back-to-back appointments! We schedule a 10-minute break between sessions for proper sanitation and reset. While one of you is relaxing in the spa, the other can explore a few cute shops and cafés right here in the Oak Creek Market Place Village. It’s a great way to enjoy a little self-care day together!

Q: Can I book a head spa treatment and a color in the same appointment? A: To protect your scalp and get the best results, we require at least 7 days between a head spa treatment and any chemical service (like coloring, bleaching, relaxing, or perming). These treatments affect your scalp differently, so spacing them out helps ensure safety and effectiveness. You’re welcome to combine a head spa with haircuts, blowouts, or styling in the same appointment. If you want both chemical services and a head spa, please plan to book them at least a week apart.

Q: Can men get a head spa treatment? A: Yes! Whether you’re looking for hair growth support, a scalp detox, or deep hydration, our head spa treatments are perfect for men too. Enjoy relaxing scalp massages and customized care to keep your hair and scalp healthy.

Q: Is a blowout or styling included with the head spa treatment? A: Blowouts and styling are not included. For scalp health, we recommend letting your hair air or towel dry after the treatment. However, if you'd prefer a blowout, you're welcome to book it separately after your head spa—just note that availability may vary, so we suggest scheduling in advance.

Q: Can I get a head spa treatment if I have extensions, braids, or locs? A: For best results, we do require full access to the scalp—so head spa treatments aren’t recommended if you’re wearing extensions, braids, locs, or similar styles. If you’re planning to take them out soon, we’d love to schedule you afterward for a thorough detox and deep scalp care session!

Q: Can I book a head spa if I have short hair or am bald? A: Absolutely! Head spa treatments are all about scalp health and relaxation, so short hair—or no hair at all—is no problem. In fact, it allows even better access for deep cleansing and massage. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the experience!

Q: How often can I book a head spa treatment? A: Most guests benefit from booking a head spa every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain a healthy scalp and promote hair growth. However, if you're dealing with buildup, dryness, or scalp irritation, more frequent visits may help rebalance things faster. We’re happy to recommend a schedule based on your scalp’s needs!

Q: Which head spa treatment would you suggest for psoriasis? A: For dry, sensitive, or psoriasis-prone scalps, we recommend our Hydrate or Luxe Hydrate treatments. These focus on calming, moisturizing care with gentle jojoba and sandalwood oils, crystal detox, and soothing massage. If you're looking for a more indulgent experience, the Royal treatment is a great option too — it's our most luxurious service and can be fully customized with a Hydrate focus for added comfort. Since psoriasis is a medical condition, we always suggest checking with your dermatologist first. Once you're cleared, we’ll make sure your treatment is tailored to be as gentle and restorative as possible.

Q: Which head spa treatment is best for dandruff? A: For dandruff, we recommend the Detox or Luxe Detox treatment. These purifying rituals target buildup and congestion with clarifying oils like tea tree and peppermint, gentle exfoliation, and a crystal detox cleanse to rebalance the scalp. If you're looking for a longer, more relaxing session, you can also book the Royal treatment with a Detox focus — We’ll tailor the experience to help calm irritation and refresh your scalp from root to tip.

Q: Which head spa treatment is best for dry scalp? A: For dry, sensitive, or irritated scalps, we recommend the Hydrate or Luxe Hydrate treatments. These soothing rituals use nourishing oils like sandalwood and jojoba, gentle exfoliation, and deep moisturizing care to relieve dryness and restore comfort. If you want a longer, indulgent experience, the Royal treatment with a Hydrate focus is a wonderful option.

Q: Which head spa treatment is best for oily scalp? A: For oily or congested scalps, our Detox or Luxe Detox treatments are ideal. These purifying rituals use clarifying pre-wash oils like tea tree and peppermint, exfoliating scrubs, and deep cleansing to balance oil production and refresh your scalp. For a more luxurious experience, the Royal treatment with a Detox focus offers enhanced detoxification, including scalp steaming and red light therapy. We’ll customize your treatment to leave your scalp feeling clean, balanced, and revitalized.
